Nordic Wine Tastings is going with the flow and offering online wine tastings! You can choose from our line-up of themed sessions or if you are a group request your very own tasting. These sessions are given live via zoom by Sarah Jefford and last 45 minutes to an hour.

With the weather still being cold and the pandemic inhibiting travelling, it seemed appropriate to schedule tastings that would take us off to holiday destinations and warmer weather.

A TASTE of SUMMER

Knowledge, Escapism and Fun

These themed online wine tastings will allow you to travel the world of wine. During each session you will be tasting three different wines. You will learn about the different regions of origin, grape varieties, winemaking techniques and other factors both natural and human that influence the wine you have in your glass. You will learn how to taste like a professional and how to pair food and wine. You will gain knowledge and confidence and will further your appreciation of wine.

How does this work?

  • Book one of the live virtual winetastings by way of the form below. Bookings are per household.
  • Once you have booked you will be sent a list of the 3 wines to purchase from Systembolaget as well a tasting grid to guide you through the tasting.
  • You will also receive a link to the session which will be delivered on Zoom.
  • The sessions last approximately 60 minutes
  • At the end of the session there will be the opportunity for Q&A

If you don’t already own one, you might want to purchase a vacuum stopper or a Coravin to keep the wine fresh over the next few days as there will be wine left after the tasting. The advantage to purchasing your own wine is that you can enjoy it over the week.
